What better way to reacclimate than trivia with strategy kids.
Impressive salvaging of a disastrous travel day. Finally back in the RVA.

#1 Party School ‘This American Life’ podcast (you must listen) and packing. Good bye (again) Maine.
Defining bands thru other bands is probably a terrible habit, but I’m loving the beautiful love child of Weezer & Radiohead at Empire.
Fun with @BobbbyG and PhotoBooth. See? I do miss Maine…http://ow.ly/Xea3
Yes. Maine is pretty beautiful. http://yfrog.com/4ezt5lj
Wild Friday night snuggie love. Yep, it’s hot pink and that’s my favorite Foley @elisehelene. http://yfrog.com/4gfqfhj
Quotation of the day: “We wouldn’t make ugly children. That should probably stand for something.”
I have a lot of eating to do in Portland this week. Waiting for my lovely but perenially late friends @bobbbyg and CCC at Sonny’s.
Am a firm believer in the restorative power of a good thank you note, especially while written at Arabica. http://yfrog.com/3gqqsvj
I am now one of those people who has time to hang out in coffee shops all afternoon. Love it.

Back in Portland. Gearing up for an evening of overwhelming hilarity @vianow’s #greendrinks. Plaid seems appropriate for the occasion.
Have spent more hours than I care to admit sitting in front of gate 16 in the south station bus terminal. Back to Maine! Slightly surreal.
This is going to be a good year for turquoise.

Really? My computer and phone chargers were stolen out of my checked luggage. So unamused.
Good morning New England. I have not missed the winter.
SEA-TAC: a ghost town. What? Friday night red-eyes to Boston aren’t highly popular?
For a movie with an interesting subject and pretty stellar cast, the “Nine” trailer and single “Cinema Italiano” is incredibly painful.
I Didn’t think it was possible to make “Charlie Bit My Finger” any more hilarious. The auto-tune remix. http://bit.ly/20AAVa
“It’s snowing in Key West? What’s going on in the world?” “Al Gore.”
Survived the morning careening through downtown Seattle in friend’s Jeep. Hilarity.
“Watching” football at one of the most fratastic bars in downtown Seattle. I now understand why beer and sports are such a necessary combo.
Deliciously smooth lattes require no alteration. http://yfrog.com/1d6ugpj Zoiga, Seattle.
Totally better than a superbowl spot: Pepsi’s Refresh project. http://bit.ly/6bXZ4D I think the #brandcenter should rock this.
Martinis with evolutionary biologists in downtown Seattle. Seems like an amusing combo. Will avoid obvious fish and drinking analogies.
I spent 45 minutes in a store devoted to fancy shmace scents-candles, perfume, aroma sticks, etc this afternoon. It was total bliss.
Today's Fantasy
6 weeks, no school. Naturally, this would be a time to catch up with family and friends, actually respond to emails, watch movies and loads of online TV, catch up on my google reader feeds, New Yorker backlog, and all those books I’ve been meaning to read.
I’ve done a lot of this. But the reading list was slightly altered…for better or worse.
I read the entire Twilight series...
Reality TV while emailing thank you notes from thousands of feet up in the air. Thank you Google and Virgin America. Technology is cool.
Downtown San Fran to seat 20C in 40 minutes. Travel gods, I owe you some sort of sacrificial blessing. http://yfrog.com/35hmftj
Only in a SF 7-11. http://yfrog.com/33ieiuj
So late to the airport. Virgin America, please don’t leave without me. SFO-SEA attempt.
Convinced California life is an endless string of good hair days.
While my east coast brethren are braving horizontal snow storms, I am going on long walks in short sleeves on Sunny afternoons. #iloveca
I should use the word cunning in regular conversation more often.
I would like to play the word “azure” and would appreciate a strategic R spot opening up. An afternoon well spent. http://yfrog.com/3glvkypj

Smeared makeup, sore walking up hills in heels feet, lolling on my friend’s futon in the mid morning. Hello twenty-ten.
